Son and Spirit
THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
Son and Spirit was created during the Easter season of 2025. This mixed-media painting, created with acrylic and layers of vintage papers, reflects on the eternal relationship between Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Christ appears to walk alone through a garden, yet He is not alone. The painting is filled with movement, light, and brilliant color, while Jesus walks quietly through its center. The luminous presence surrounding His path suggests something unseen but very near—the Spirit accompanying the Son.
Father, Son, and Spirit were together in creation and exist in an eternal relationship of love. Son and Spirit is a reflection on that mystery: the visible Christ walking within the presence of the invisible Spirit, together in perfect communion.
